Great wireless connection for any bluetooth able item you have.I have it hooked up to my home stereo for my bluetooth headphones and ipod connection.easy to set up and works well.
Quality is flawless; no feedback, distortions, or breaks, and the range seems to be at least 10 feet for me. I highly recommend this product. Next, I used it as a transmitter, playing the TV's sound over my bluetooth headphones. First I used it as a receiver to make my Bose speakers wireless playing music via my phone and computer. This product sounded too good to be true for such a price, but I got it anyway knowing I could return it. I have been using some excellent Motorola stereo bluetooth headphones with my phone and decided I wanted to expand my bluetooth capabilities. Needless to say, this product worked on my first try within five minutes of opening it. (One could purchase two of these and transmit your TV over your speakers wirelessly).
There is a slight delay in audio but not enough to drop a star. Works well with all my bluetooth headsets and speakers. Good product for those interested in a two-way transmitter.
The source transmitter is a TRENDnet TBW-105UB bluetooth dongle in my Dell (Windows XP, WMP11) laptop USB 2.0 port, about 15ft away. The only tough part is getting Windows XP to recognize the A2DP bluetooth profile, which it does not out of the box - and it is a chore - but this is not the fault of the Sony transmitter.I've used it almost everyday for the last year, in receiver mode attached to my stereo's "CD/DVD" RCA inputs. It connects each time without a problem. It also sounds great, so I now use my laptop as my sole music source, and have never looked back. It's strange to read the negative reviews for this device. I've never had a single problem with it. It has never cut out on me, distorted, or changed the tempo/speed of the music.
WOW this product works through doors and every obstruction just like you were holding the ipod in your hand. Amazon refunded my money no problem. I got this product in conjuction with the ipod bluetooth adapter.I have the ipod in a closet with my home stereo. You can travel about 18 feet, with the clost door open, to my sliding door to the deck before it drops the signal with the door closed about 5 feet.In short does not work. I would not recommend this prduct to anyone. I invested an addtional 60 dollars over what i paid for the two poducts and got a keyspan tuneview.
